About Us
Poly Garden is a charitable society registered under the Directorate of Social Action (Registration number: 147/81). As per the objectives of our society, a permanent institution for the benefit of mentally challenged men was established in the name of Poly Garden in the year 1981 at Lakkidi. Poly Garden has been doing free social service for the downtrodden and mentally challenged people. The institution is rehabilitating, treating, and educating the mentally challenged, epileptic, and psychiatric patients across Kerala. The institution has completed 40 years of social service by rendering its services to an average of 120 inmates at a time.
The Poly Garden campus possesses a land area of 8 acres with enough space for future expansion. The infrastructural facilities available include a rehabilitation centre, a huge dining hall, dormitories, classrooms, and a recreation hall.

Our History and Establishment
With the ambition of developing a township for the differently-abled, our founder, the late Rev. Fr. Paul Puvathingal, established Poly Garden “Bodhini Kendram” in the year 1981. Since our inception, we have improved many lives with our selfless services. Poly Garden is a prolonged-stay home for the mentally challenged. This project is run by the Directorate of Social Action, which is a registered charitable society under the Registration Act No. 12 of 1955 and has been functioning for more than 40 years in Kerala. This project functions at Lakkidi in the Palakkad district, close to the Bharathapuzha River. We are humbled and happy to grow and expand further for the betterment of society.
